At present, the School of Automation and Electrical Engineering has 92 faculty members, including79 full-time teachers, 14 professors, 28 associate professors, 7 senior experimentalists, and 35 master's supervisors.25 of them have doctor's degrees and 50 have master's degrees. The school has formed an excellent teaching staff with optimized structure, high quality, and young and middle-aged. Among them, there are 1 provincial famous teaching teacher, 1 "Distinguished Young Scholar" in Liaoning Province,1 "thousand people level" and 2 "ten thousand people level" in Liaoning Province Talents Project,1 "Excellent Expert" in Shenyang, and 3 young backbone teachers. In addition, a number of teachers won the honorary titles of “excellent teacher” in Liaoning Province, “excellent teacher”, “advanced individual in three aspects of education” and “excellent scientific and technical worker” in Shenyang. The school also has a provincial teaching team of “Core Course Group of Measurement and Control Major” and a provincial scientific research innovation team of “Intelligent Detection and Networked Measurement and Control”.

The school currently has 1,835 students, including 1,704 undergraduates and131postgraduates distributed in full-time academic, professional degree, and engineering type.
